What is Monk Fruit?
What is Monk Fruit?
Monk fruit is a small green fruit traditionally grown in southern China, particularly in the Guangxi region, and prized for its naturally intense sweetness.
Its sweetness comes from naturally occurring compounds called mogrosides, which are much sweeter than table sugar. That means only a few drops are needed at a time.
Our Monk Fruit Drops are made with monk fruit and water, creating a naturally sweet food ingredient that can be used drop by drop in drinks, breakfasts, baking and recipes.
A 6-drop serving reference contains less than 1 kcal and less than 0.2g carbs, with no added sugar.
How do I use Monk Fruit?
How do I use Monk Fruit?
Start low, stir well, then adjust to taste.
Coffee: start with 4–6 drops
Tea, yoghurt & smoothies: start with 2–4 drops
Baking & recipes: start with 8 drops, then build gradually
Monk Fruit Drops add sweetness, not bulk, without thinning out the mixture.
Different foods and drinks need different amounts depending on their flavour profile, so starting low gives you more control over the final sweetness.

How is this different from honey or maple syrup?
How is this different from honey or maple syrup?
Think of it like honey or syrup, but used drop by drop.
Monk Fruit Drops can be used wherever you might otherwise reach for sugar, honey or syrup when you want to add sweetness.
Because only a few drops are needed, you can control the sweetness without adding the same volume of liquid, sugar, calories or carbs.
For baking and recipes, remember that Monk Fruit Drops add sweetness, not bulk.
How is this different from stevia or erythritol?
How is this different from stevia or erythritol?
Monk Fruit Drops are a naturally sweet food ingredient, not an artificial sweetener.
Many monk fruit products are blended with ingredients such as erythritol or stevia. Ours is made with just monk fruit and water.
No erythritol. No stevia. No fillers.
That keeps the ingredient list simple and lets the monk fruit speak for itself.
What does Monk Fruit taste like?
What does Monk Fruit taste like?
Monk fruit has its own natural flavour profile rather than tasting exactly like sugar. Some people notice soft fruit notes or a gentle lingering sweetness, while others mainly notice the sweetness itself. We recommend starting low, stirring well and adjusting to taste, as the flavour can come through differently depending on what you’re adding it to.

Only tried it few times in hot drinks so far. I can taste an odd flavour but I'll give it more of a chance (especially for the price)
Phenomenal product and gorgeous brand!
As if the thoughtful handwritten note from the founders and super helpful tips on how to use the monkfruit drops hadn’t already won my heart over, finding something that fills a gap in my diet like this was on another level!
I have lupus and due to pregnancy and breastfeeding hormones, have been more sensitive than ever to ingredients that cause inflammation.
I’d dropped refined sugars, plus maple syrup and honey since they even triggered it to some extent..
But my well established sweet tooth was longing for something I couldn’t quite find! Mind blown and over the moon to stick to enjoying whole foods AND be able to sweeten them without compromising my health.
Very happy to pay more to enjoy no unnecessary ingredients, plus, I think it’ll last me a while!
Thank you so much, Keto & Green!
Good product but I find I use more than suggested and I don't have an sweet tooth really, would definitely repurchase ☺️ maybe I'm just not used to it yet
Thank you so much, Graham! 💚 We're so happy to hear you'd repurchase! We've found from customer feedback that everyone's preferred amount can vary quite a bit, and it can take a little experimenting to find what works best for you. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! 😊
As a long term sugar addict I have wanted to find a replacement for some time, and it proved very difficult. I wanted something natural without additives and fillers that I could easily adjust to my own taste. Thankfully I found your Monk Fruit drops and I’m delighted! The taste is simple, not artificial sweetness, just a pure hint of what I wanted. I was on two teaspoons of sugar per hot drink but now use 4 drops in tea and 6 in coffee. I am so relieved I could find the solution I wanted without compromising flavour - in fact it’s even better than sugar!
Sue, this absolutely made our day! 💚 Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. Hearing that you've found the natural alternative you were looking for, without feeling like you've had to compromise, is exactly why we started Keto & Green. Thank you for your support! 😊
These drops are potent! Very sweet! One is enough for me but i like the idea of a sweetened drink without spiking blood sugar. Will take a bit of getting used to but its not bad at all.
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! 💚 We're so happy to hear you're enjoying Monk Fruit and that one drop has been your sweet spot! It really is fascinating how everyone's preferred amount can be so different. Thank you for taking the time to share your honest experience! 😊
I like the taste and i have given up sweeteners altogether now
Thank you so much, Susan! 💚 We're so happy to hear you're enjoying the taste and that Monk Fruit has helped you move away from sweeteners. That's exactly why we created it. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Great alternative to honey on my breakfast . Only need a few drops.
Thank you so much for sharing Angela! We're delighted to hear that 😊 xx
Awful awful awful .So disappointed in the taste of this - it’s such a shame it’s so difficult to get good monk fruit products in the uk
Thank you for giving us a try and for taking the time to leave a review.
Taste is incredibly personal, and we completely understand that our Monk Fruit Infusion won’t be the right fit for everyone.
Our approach is simply whole monk fruit and water, with nothing else added, which creates a different flavour profile to many monk fruit products on the market.
We’re sorry to hear it wasn’t for you, but we genuinely appreciate you giving us a try.
wonderful product and service
Thank you so much for your lovely and kind words! xx
These drops seem to good to be true! I bought these as a non-ultra-processed alternative to sweeteners and they work like a charm. I've used them in smoothies as an alternative to honey and they are great. I find they work best when used in a recipe where there are lots of other ingredients or where the other ingredients have strong flavours. I tend to use 6-8 drops in a smoothie with a protein powder that doesn't have artificial sweeteners and it adds the perfect amount of sweetness. I have used Keto & Green drops in Ninja Creami ice creams. 16-24 drops works for a whole pint, depending on the other ingredients. The hand-written note that came with my delivery was a nice touch. Will 100% be buying again!! Thank you!
Thank you so much Taylor for taking the time to share such a wonderful review! A Ninja Creami is now firmly on our list as we'd love to try this 😊 We absolutely love hearing how people use Monk Fruit in their everyday routines, so thank you again for sharing your experience and kind words! xx
This version of monk fruit is not my cup of tea. I'll stick to my usual brand because if it does have an aftertaste, my taste buds have not detected it whereas the monk fruit is slightly offensive.
Thank you so much for giving us a try and for taking the time to share your honest feedback
Taste is such a personal thing, especially with monk fruit, and different extraction methods can create very different flavour profiles.
Our Monk Fruit Infusion is simply made from whole monk fruit and water using a minimally processed approach, so the taste experience can differ from other monk fruit products.
We really appreciate you trying us and sharing your thoughts.
Massive convert and I genuinely don't say that lightly. 1-2 drops is perfect for my coffees and I'm happy to say that this has replaced honey in my daily life. Great product and really high quality - bye to honey and sugar and hello to... Monkfruit!
Thank you Alex! That is so lovely to hear and we are so happy that Monk Fruit has become part of your daily rituals! 😊
Excellent product!
Thank you so much Ivana! 😊
As a self-diagnosed sugar addict :)... And having used a bunch of so called 'natural' sweeteners like Stevia and Aspartame for years, this product not only tastes better but is the the first one I've found that is actually good for you and I can use guilt free!
Highly recommend giving it a try!
Thank you so much for your lovely words Ellison! We know that feeling all too well from before we discovered Monk Fruit ourselves. We're so pleased you've enjoyed it and really appreciate your recommendation!
I absolutely love this product. Since I've first tried it, it become my evening ritual to have it with tea. And what blew my mind is how long this single bottle lasts - nearly four months of daily usage.
Thank you Marko! It's always so nice to hear when someone has the same experience we did when we first discovered Monk Fruit! It reaffirms why we knew we needed to bring it to the UK! 😊
The only reason I don’t want too give this product 5 stars is for fear of it selling out. Great stuff.
What a lovely review! Thank you so much Alana!! Xx
I trialled Monk fruit for a good couple of weeks whilst wearing my continuous glucose monitor and it 100% didnt cause any glucose spikes which is amazing! I usually have 1 teaspoon of sugar in my tea but with the drops I only need 2. I feel a little goes a long way. Its really nice mixed with Greek yogurt too. I had been looking for a clean monk fruit and glad I came across this. Lovely company who genuinely care about their customers. Wishing your business all the success :)
We are so happy to hear this and thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! Thank you also for the lovely words. We are so grateful to have you as a customer! xx
