Sweet, Simple, and Built from Real Life

Keto & Green started with a very real problem.

I’m Kristina, co-founder, and I love food. But as a vegan with a severe nut allergy who is also keto, finding everyday ingredients I could truly trust wasn’t easy, especially when it came to sweetness.

Most “natural” sweeteners were full of fillers, artificial ingredients, or things that simply didn’t work for my body.

Cooking at home.

The small rituals that shape a day suddenly became complicated.

But I knew there had to be a simpler way.

That’s when, together with my husband and co-founder Merlin, we discovered monk fruit, a naturally sweet fruit traditionally grown in Southern China.

The more we researched it, the more surprising something became.

Many products labelled as monk fruit weren’t really monk fruit at all. They were blends, powders and processed sweeteners padded out with erythritol, stevia and other additives.

So we decided to create something different.

Merlin, who has long been connected to food culture in Asia, began working directly with suppliers to source monk fruit from Guangxi, the traditional growing region known for producing high-quality monk fruit. The mountainous region is also famous for its unusually high number of centenarians.

Instead of creating another processed sweetener, we focused on something much simpler.

A gentle water extraction.

Monk fruit.

Water.

Nothing else.

The result is a clean, naturally sweet ingredient that lets us enjoy everyday foods again without compromise.

Today Keto & Green exists for anyone trying to reduce sugar while still enjoying the small pleasures of food.

It’s not a diet.

It’s not a restriction.

It’s simply a more natural way to sweeten life.
